Mr. Kim Jeong-Ok is representative of Korean ceramic art.
Korean traditional ceramic art has been handed down here for seven generations of 200 years by his family and he is the seventh generational heir of family.
He received all the secrets of Chosun white ware and PunChong ware from his father.
He is human cultural assets in Korea. He has gone through a number of adversity in the meantime but no adversity could taint his high minded spirit in ceramic art.

1941 : Born in KwanEum-Ri, MoonKyoung-Eup, KyoungSangBuk-Do.
1986 : The Folk Culture Award
1988 : The art promotion Institute president prize at the traditional Korean handicraft exhibition.
1989 : Solo show at the Keio Department store, Tokyo. Japan.
1991 : Won the award of the Minister of Justice.
1991 : Selected Master of Korean traditional ceramic art.
1991 : Won the award of the Minister of Labor.
1992 : The KyoungSangBuk-Do Culture Award
1996 : Major Intangible Culture Properties.
1996 : Solo show at the Osaka, Japan.
