The Master of Korean traditional ceramic art, Mr. Chon, Han-Bong, is the artist who keeps make a tea bowl in his whole life. Especially he makes rough bowl with traditional method of ChoSun Era. He always uses natural materials - Clay, Firewood and glaze. He already famous in Foreign Country.

-Brief Profile-

1933 : Born in Tokyo, Japan.
1948 : After he came back to Korea, he went Munkyoung for enter ceramic art.
1972 : Established Munkyoung Yo.
1973 : Open an exhibition of Modern masterpiece of Koryo Pottery in Japan.
1975 : Open an exhibition of Korean Culture 5000years in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, Japan.
1974 ~ 1977 : open an tour exhibition in major city in Japan.
1978 : Actual performance of making pottery in NHK TV.
1980 : Solo show of Koryo` s masterpiece in Japan.
1982 : The Folk Culture Award
1989 ~ 1995 : Pottery Cultural Exchange exhibition between Korea and Japan.
1993 ~ 1994 : Show Seven Korean Ceramic artists exhibit.
1995 : Award of Master of Korean Ceramic artist.
1995 : Award of President of Korea.
1996 : Won Grand prize of Munkyoung Culture Contest.
1996 : Pottery show in International Tea culture contest.
