" Reappeared of Koryo Celadon"

HeokSan. Bang, Cheol-Ju (DongKuk Yo)

Mr. Bang, Cheol-Ju spent his whole life to reappear of the Koryo Celadon.
Once we lost color of the Koryo celadon, he try to find the lost color for 1000years.
He is a representative ceramic artist of Koryo Celadon.

-Brief Profile-

1922 : Born in Seoul Korea.
1967 : Entered traditional pottery art of Korea.
1971 : Established DongKuk Yo.
1982 : Won the silver award of pottery contest by KBS TV in Korea.
1984 : Show of the doyen of the potters.
1984 ~ 1988 : Exhibit overseas tour of Korean traditional handicraft.
1992 : Exhibit interchange of International pottery.
1993 : Exhibit Korean traditional handicraft in Japan.
1973 ~ 1994 : Several Solo Show in Japan.
1978 ~ 1994 : The Korean Traditional Handicraft Award.
1976 ~ 1994 : Received the tablet of appreciation from Chairman of Congress, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Minister of Culture, Mayor of Kyushu, Curator of Mexican Museum.
